Becoming a NeuroHeir™ explores how generational trauma and nervous system patterns are passed down, and how to begin healing them. Through a somatic, science-informed approach, Leanna M. Hunt introduces the 4N Framework (Notice, Name, Nurture, Navigate) to help you regulate your body, understand your patterns, and create lasting change. This book offers practical tools for emotional healing, resilience, and living with greater connection and clarity.
What Is the Book About?
What if the patterns you struggle with didn’t start with you?
In Becoming a NeuroHeir™, Leanna blends neuroscience, somatic healing, and generational insight to help you understand how your nervous system has been shaped, by your experiences and by the ones that came before you.
This is not a book about fixing yourself. It’s about understanding why your body responds the way it does… and learning how to work with it instead of against it.
Through her signature 4N Framework—Notice, Name, Nurture, Navigate—you’ll learn how to:
- recognize your nervous system patterns
- understand emotional triggers without shame
- build capacity for regulation and resilience
- shift generational cycles with awareness and intention
- With a combination of personal stories, client-informed insights, and practical somatic tools, this book offers a new way forward—one rooted in compassion, connection, and nervous system safety.
You didn’t choose what you inherited.
But you can choose what you carry forward.
